Increase the absorbency of cloth nappies with these slim-fitting boosters without added bulk; These bamboo inserts are a must-have for all cloth nappy families; Ideal for nighttime or long car and plane journeys - especially if you have a heavy wetter!

Quick Drying Design: Liquids absorb quickly into the bamboo fabric, while the innovative loop towelling maximises space between fibres for optimal absorption; The double-layered booster pad facilitates quick drying for maximum comfort and prevents leakage.

Easy to Use: Simply place an insert between the nappy and wrap to extend the absorption capability of your baby's nappy; Throw them into the laundry after a quick hand rinse for simple cleaning; Air dry outside or tumble dry on low, and they're ready for use again!

Soft to the Touch: Made with a breathable blend of 90% Bamboo viscose and 10% Polyester for the comfort and ease of wear for your baby; we recommend washing the inserts 3 times before use to optimize the absorbency of the bamboo

An Environmentally Sustainable Alternative: Our hero fibre bamboo is one of the most sustainable natural fibres available - Bamboo grows super fast, doesn’t need a lot of water, and doesn’t destroy the ground it grows on; Invest in a reusable nappy system and reduce waste!

WASHING ROUTINE

If you mainly use this nappy during the daytime.

3 to 6 months: Wash everyday.

6 to 12 months: Wash every 1-2 days.

12 to 24 months: Wash every 2 days (up to 3 for light users with fast drying).

24 to 36 months: Wash every 3 days.

INSTRUCTIONS

Step 1. Remove Nappy

Hold the nappy or washable liner over the toilet and ease off the solids. If using a disposable liner, bin it, don't flush it.

Close any velcro tabs.

Step 2. Store in bucket

Store dirty nappies, boosters and any reusable liners in our Hanging nappy pail. Store nappies until you have a full load, but do not leave soiled nappies unwashed for longer than three days.

Step 3. Wash

Wash on a full, long cycle at 40 or 60 degrees.

Use a full dose of detergent, and follow package guidelines for dosage according to conditions. We recommend powder detergent.

Step 4. Dry

Line drying in direct sunshine is best as the sun naturally bleaches the fabric and it’s free and kind to the planet.
Near, but not touching, a heat source like a radiator is also good and the nappies can also be dried on a low heat in the drier.
Excessive high heat in a dryer will affect the life-span of the nappies but is OK every now and then in an emergency.

"How many reusable nappies do I need?" The answer varies depending on your individual situation. Factors such as your washing and drying facilities, your baby's age and change frequency, and whether you're using cloth nappies full or part time all play a role. However, as a general guideline, we recommend the following quantities for full-time use and washing every second day:

  • Newborns: 30 nappies and 10 wraps
  • 8 weeks to 6 months: 15 pocket nappies, 5 fitted night nappies, and 2-5 wraps.
  • 6 months and up: 12 pocket nappies, 3 fitted nappies, and 2-4 wraps

While having more nappies can make things easier, the above quantities are all that's necessary. We understand the temptation to get carried away with patterns, but anything beyond these numbers is just a nice bonus.

Cloth nappies save you £££s

Reusable nappies will save you money. You can save £700 when switching to cloth nappies and even more if you use your nappies on a second child. Even if you switch to one reusable nappy a day, you'll still make a financial saving while helping preserve the planet your baby will inherit.

Cloth vs disposable

Globally, every four days 1 billion single-use disposable nappies go to landfill or incineration. Each disposable nappy can take up to 500 years to decompose. Reusable nappies can reduce household plastic waste and your family's carbon footprint by 40%.
