Let us introduce you to the most guilt-free nappy purchase you’ll make this year! £1 from every purchase will be donated to charity from our new Zodiac Collection.
What do we both have in common? We hate single use plastics!
Based in St Agnes, Surfers against Sewage is a grassroots environmental charity campaigning for better water quality, education of the next generation, and helps over 100,000 people each year to clean up their local beaches.
Did you know, 12 million tonnes of plastic is pouring into the ocean every year. Plastic has been found in the deepest parts of the ocean, as far away as Antartica and across all the UK’s beaches.
We know a huge cause of plastic pollution is the systemic over-production and over-consumption of non-essential single-use, throw away and polluting plastics.
Surfers against sewage is a leading campaigner to eliminate plastic pollution, mobilising and empowering a nationwide network of ocean activists to take action from beach fronts to the front benches of Parliament.
What do nappies have to do with this?
LittleLamb Nappies help everyday people preserve the environment by not clogging up landfill and the ocean.
On average, one baby will use 6500 disposable nappies from birth to potty - this equals 1 tonne of dirty wet nappies. Studies have shown nappies can take up to 250 years to decompose!
Reusable nappies use 3.5 times less energy, 8 times less non-renewable materials and 90 times less renewable resources than ‘disposables’.
Making the switch to cloth nappies can significantly reduce your personal use of single-use plastics.
